Exillon Energy's assets have a long history, with the first oil discovery in Exillon WS's and Exillon TP's fields occuring in 1971 and 1988, respectively. A number of oil wells were drilled subsequently, resulting in additional oil field discoveries and a better understanding of the regional geology. The Group acquired the assets in January and April of 2009, respectively.
